HI my name is Jonathan here is my project 1984 mini, the photo is from the day I bought it nearly a year ago it is my first mini. Ill add more up to date photos in the next few days.

my boot was looking like this

so I did a job on it. I used 1mm thick steel to make the boot floor stronger

then it was the front part of the floors

Then painted the floor and boot to prevent from more rust.

Weird that someone had it resprayed before fixing any welding! looks good though mate!

Whay coating did you put on the floor pan and boot ? looks tough! i'm going to use pickup load bed paint but if this is better i'l b using this haha

Thanks lads.

The coating I used was gravel tex stone chip. I painted it on with a brush because I didt want to risk any over spray on the nice painted shell. I wasn't going for looks in the boot I wanted a tough coating to prevent rust.

the back sub was rusty and the breaks were not the best so I rebuild them

I used twist wire brushes on my angle grinder to remove rust

the two front seat are not great someone thought it would be a good idea to weld then in that position. Ill get a better seats later on some time.

Haha yeah must have been a gangsta or something sitting like tha haha, can you not grind the welds and break them loose ?

If not i'l have them at the right price ;D
