Hi TMF,

Took my mini out for the first time in about a week after changing the indicator and hazard flasher units as the indicators stopped working, this however fixed them and I went to fill up on petrol as it was almost empty, as I rolled it into 1st gear it cut out and started again on the first turn of the key. I filled it with petrol, and on the way out of the station it cut out again. I thought it may have been because I had been 'running on fumes' but about 30 seconds later, at about 50 mph it cut out again. Does anyone know why it would do this?

1989 flame
1380 metro engine, hif44 carb and solid state fuel pump

Recent work - headlight conversion, flasher units changed, oil change. (can't think of anything else)
