Anyone know who owns this mini please?? I have fallen in love with the colour and this is how I imagined mine would look :) but have no idea what the name of the colour is!! Anyone out there know?? I have been through so many pictures and spray pots but can't find exactly what I want which is this :D xx

I am pretty sure its amaranth purple :)

Girl round the corner from me has one and hers is an equinox paint is amaranth purple I think

That what I thought it would be :) I went looking for that colour in halfords just to have a look but they didn't have it in and didnt list it in the book either, I imagine my bloke who is spraying it will be able to get it tho? X

Years ago I painted my BMX this colour, saw it on a mini and fell in love with it   :wub:

It's a blue/purple pearlescent colour, right? Halfords didn't do it  I had to have to have it mixed by a local paint shop, but it was a standard Rover colour.

Yeah I thought it was standard rover colour too will have to look into it and see what my bloke says :) fingers crossed x

Have a look at the first page of my project. The last mini I did was a purple colour. It wasn't metallic or pearl but a standard colour. It was a Nissan Micra paint code so easy to get hold of

if you get the paint code any paint shop will mix the colour for you. if you are having the shell painted by a spray shop I guess they might have preference to supply the paint themselves via their own suppliers?

 

I don't know as I do my own spraying

It is Amaranth, colour code: Amaranth - KMN (BLVC1223)

Make sure you add laquer on top of it too. The laquer will help bring out the Pearlescent flecks in the paint

That is a lovely purple that's the colour I did mine
