[MINI MAD RKH]

...do people generally use in their Z-Cars??

 

& I need the name and year of the cars too pls. as I don't understand the EP? coding

The most used engine is the K20A2 as that is what was in the EP3 Type R Civic. I believe they are still putting the K20 (different engine code, Wikipedia should tell you) into the newer Type R civics but I think the g-box is a slightly different mounting to the chassis.

I used a B16A1 but they stopped fabricating that kit.

 

I think the only honda engine they use is the K20.....

 

But Zcars can do a lot, you have the engine, they make the frame (if possible of cource.....) Give them a call

Renessey, where the hell have you been all this time??? You were close to finishing and then we never heard another peep from you or did I miss a few posts? If you haven't already would you like to post some finished pictures in your build diary?

indeed it's been a while. The car is still in the garage but not finished yet. I've had some busy years so which have held the mini off....

 

Allways the same reasons... Having a twin and then a 3rd kid... Rebuilding the rooms, kitchen and bathroom.... But the good news is I'm back again...

 

The mini is driveable again and is halfway in paint prep... The end is coming! haha. I will make a big post in my build diary soon.....

Yeah, if I was building my own I would talk to Z-Cars but that's not the plan

 

There was one I saw for sale and I'm sure it had an 1100cc engine in it which confused me because I thought, that can't be all that powerful
