Hi, this must of come up more than once, sorry to ask again. I am changing from cast remote to rod type linkage ( due to a new gearbox). What is the best way to change the tunel, to mount the new rod change or other ideas for gear selection, this is to go into a hill climber.

Ok, change of tack. Could someone please take a photo of the floor pan/ tunnel on a rod type gear shift, so I can try and fabricate something like. Thanks  :proud:

It should be easy to go from remote to rod. Just fit the selector, sans gearstick, and mark where to cut the hole. It only touches the tunnel via the rubber mounting bobbins, just a couple of bolt holes.

fit the linkage, and then make a bracket and drill 1 hole for one bobbing, job done
