ive removed my head and 2 out of 4 are leaking so im going to re-seat them

 

while im doing this should i renew or do anything else while its off???

Is there play in the valve guides?? replace the valve guide seals.

Valve stem oil seals

 

Have valve guides checked

 

Consider a little bit of porting maybe?

Probably worth doing the stem seals why you are at it.

To the OP, you could also consider compression ratio calculations

I've just sent my MPi head off for a refurb, recut valves, bead blast and a skim, £65 cash.

head has built by morspeed its a stage 3 booster head, but the valve guide were reamed wrong

 

after having this problem sorted the valves weren't re=seated so this is the point im at so its had new valve guides is it still worth doing the seals

Always worth doing new seals.
