Hi I am fitting radius arms to new subframe, new fulcrum pins reamed to fit and new brackets etc, when I tighten everything up how tight/stiff should the arm swing up and down? I can swing mine to the upper position and it will stay there, not a lot of resistance to push up and down, on one hand probably like lifting a few Kgs but on the other hand it doesn't swing free does that sound right? Cheers.

I'd expect them to drop under their own weight, but it might just be the rubber dust seals or similar.

Should be able to drop under its own weight.
Take an arm off and see what the fulcrum pin feels like in the arm. Is it free to rotate by hand? If so its not in wrong and won't cause an issue and is probably just everythings a bit new and tight.
You do know how to rebuild them and using the right size 'washer' dust seals etc?

Have you filled it with grease yet?

Hi thanks for your replies, all yes's to your questions, think what I will do is take it apart and rebuild without the dust seals and see how tight it is without them, which I am hoping is the reason, then rebuild with them, safe in the knowledge etc, thanks for your time
