on the front offside of mini, the tyre is rubbing the fitted  arch where it meets the bumper on full left hand lock, this doesnt happen on full right lock on the nearside, panels have been cut so they arnt meeting there, the wheels are 13x7 deepdish with yoko A539.

am going to be fitting sportspack arches next week so will the bumper have to be modified or can the wheel be adjusted to make the clearance

Have the panels been cut enough? What year car is it?  When you say bumper do you mean front panel and fitted arch the wing?

its 94 cooper, the panels  have been cut so the tyre wont even get close ,the end of the bumper is covered by the fitted arch this is where  the tyre is touching

i had this problem with my sportspack arches. i solved it by basically stretching the front of the arch forward and away from the tire, then i clamped it and fibreglassed behind it so it wouldstay there.

bit of a tricky method, but worked for me. by the way i also had to cut the ends of the bumper shorter

Adjusting the tie bares for tie clearance if not what they were designed for, as the length of the tie bar effects the caster angle. the adjustable ones enable both sides to be set the same on both sides.

The mini was only ever designed for skinny 10" wheels, the problems come when you try fitting any 12 or 13" wheel that's wider than 5.5 to 6 inches. Trimming the arches and raising the suspension slightly is the way rover got round the problem...

where are those arches from? I never had that issue with sportspacks and I ran 13x8j rims.
