Hi, so my classic Austin Mini Racing Flame 1989 has a broken rear exhaust bracket.

I have taken it to a garage and the best advice they could give me was to source the part and they replace the broken part with the new one.

I have tried to find a replacement part but I cannot find it anywhere, although I'm not entirely certain what the actual part is supposed to look like.

I have attached pictures of what the broken piece looks like, it is still attached to the exhaust pipe.

And advice on which part it is?

Thank you in advance :)

I have no mechanical experience, will I be able to get a mobile mechanic to put it on, or will I need my car to go up on the ramp (in a garage)?

Trolley jack, axel stands, spanner/ratchet and can do it yourself as a novice in about 10 mins start to finish.

If its just that one then only spanners/ ratchet as you can just lay down and see it no probs.

It might just be me, but it looks like the existing mount has been welded/tacked into place and might be difficult to get off. Again, it looks as though you have a bigger exhaust on your car, and the standard pre 1990 exhaust bracket won't fit?
