Help me please,

I have a 1996 Mini Cooper 35Spi which sits in a nice dry garage and starts on the button everytime. However i reacenty went out to start it and it didn't start. I have ignition lights and the engine turns over but will not fire. Checked for a spark which is present, next was fuel. Tank is full so have fuel but pump don't seem to be pumping. I have a live feed from the relays which leads me to think the pump is no good? However i also have no life in the fuel guage? Obviously the fuel pump and fuel sender unit are seperate but neither seem to be working.

Anyone out there have any ideas cheers :o)

Can you here the pump priming?
To check the pump put a live feed to it from the battery if it doesn't do anything then its the pump knackered, if it does work your problem lies elsewhere

Something worth checking is the earth point between the fuel tank and the left rear light. I believe that the sender and the pump earth black wires end there.

Cheers, I wondered where the earth finished up, I will check.

I have tried to direct feed the pump with no luck, think the pump has had it but it seems weird that the sender has stopped as well, cheers will have to go investigate further.
