Hi

Cant believe it's taken me so long to find and sign up to this forum, I've been a mini fan since early childhood and have owned 2 vans, a pickup and a mk2 saloon. There's also been a moke (long gone sadly) in the family and various other British classics!

I bought our (mine and the wife's) mini in 2005 and have had it on the road maybe 4 years altogether since then, in the meantime it's been stored in my dad's barn.

I took my 5 year old son out in it recently and it made us both smile so much it's kind of reignited the mini flame within my soul!!

It didnt have any wood on the back doors and i've grown quite fond of how it looks without it but may one day replace all the wood - who is the best/cheapest supplier? or i might have a go at making some, got a mate who is a cabinet maker with loads of 30 year old seasoned ash i might be able to blag some off him...

Anyway, she's a bit rough around the edges and is known as BRM (as in brum-brum)

Here she is

I look forward to using the forum, lots of reading to do!

Cheers, docka
