Otis is a T reg 1979 Austin Mini 1000

He has just over 50k miles on him.

He has MOT till late august I think, and a few months tax.

He is in the lovely mustard (sandglow) colour, definately the period colour of the late 70's.

Complete with the deckchair pattern interior and centre dash.

He is running on 10" GB alloys

Floors were all replaced before I got him, and apart from that the rest of him is all very solid and very original, he has a bit of bubbling at the bottom of the doors, but has been the same since I got him well over a year ago.

Even the MOT tester said he is very good for a mini, of 34 years of age!

If I am honest I do not really wish to sell him, but as I am using my 98 Cooper MPI daily, he just sits in the garage doing nothing, and I think someone else should enjoy him!

Pics are here

£2500

HAD to take a look at Otis, as my first car (Marmaduke) was the same year, colour etc.....

However, I only paid £225 for him..... How 15 years can change the values of minis eh?

Would be far too much for me to pay just for a nostalgia trip.....

I have to say though, this is my favourite colour for a mini and I love the retro brown interiors they used.

Saw a piccy on one of your previous posts. Best of luck with the sale, someone will gat a lovely piece of mini history.
