Halfords don't sell individual imperial sockets.  I honestly think you will be out of luck on a Sunday, unless you can get to MITP.  Most regular retailers only stock metric stuff now.  Engeineering suppliers, good tool shops and so on will stock imperial but tend not to be open on Sundays.  You could try somewhere like Motorists Discount Centre.

From memory I think the rear hub nut is 15/16in AF (across flats). Same as the sump plug. Might be able to use 24mm.
Halfords.

Google 'Elora Sockets' and you'll find suppliers who can supply individual sockets in top quality material at a sensible price.

I bought a huge amount of old imperial impact sockets from a military surplus place for about 50p each. If youve got one local it might be worth a gander.

Whilst that may be true to some extent, going to a car boot hoping to find one exact socket is optimistic to say the least and most probably a waste of a good lie in. The likes halfords and machine mart etc are worth a try, but I would give the local fastener supplier a call first. They invariably stock a very good range of sockets, spanners, screwdrivers as customers buying nuts, bolts, screws etc will be missing the right one at some point or other.
