Hopefully this doesn't clash with the other current thread on engine breathing which has already gone beyond my technical comprehension.......

My crankcase clutch cover has a breather hole at the top.  Is there a simple two bolt casting I can buy to fit on this so I can either mount a small filter (or direct fumes to a catch tank)?

Thanks,

Bob

Bob

Just fitted one to my new engine build.

DSN stuff is quite expensive but the quality is first rate.

I take it the piece at the top of this is a one-way valve, is that right?  =]

My understanding is that the original type is a canister with a "flame trap", guessing some type of wire wool etc.

The DSN one is simply a cnc machined alloy piece which you would attach pipe to.

Regards

Steve

Thanks Steve - I will just have to bite the bullet!  Must admit that it is exactly what I need and it does look good.
