"Reducing the supercharger pulley is one of the most cost-effective ways of getting 'best bang for your buck', and this Lohen Starter Pack allows you to pick and choose your pulley size if you fancy a custom setup. As part of a wider modification plan, you can pick the size of your reduced supercharger pulley to team with other individual items. Supplied or fitted without a remap, these items are a fantastic way of initially modifying the hardware on your car."

"More power and improved torque - the 1320 Performance Package 1 for the R53 MINI Cooper S is an extremely cost effective enhancement which produces large performance gains, making it an exceptional value upgrade.
And if R53 MINI Cooper S customers would like to know exactly what level of performance increase is realised by this conversion, they should look at the details of 1320's Performance Package 2..."

and probably the best MINI Performance and tuning forum for advice from owners is MINI Torque. If you went to 'Mini in the Park' at Santa Pod last weekend they had one of the biggest owners club stands with some amazing modified MINI's, see the link to their event photos below.

+1 on the above
the facelift is a bit better anyway, keep an eye at supercharger pulley and dont be tempted to tamper it without knowing exactly what youre doing

The economy isnt great, the tax is quite alot ( about £240 iirc ) but they do make for a great modded car. You can get 230bhp+ easily enough if you have deep pockets.
If you go on MT , just be mindfull they are a clicky bunch and if you have wheel gap you will get thraped.......
However, they are very technically minded.

Do this. I AM NOT really a fan of Binis but I would buy one, just to achieve some real stance ie... the above

yeah, one thing an r53 really needs is harder suspension and less rubber on ridiculously cambered wheels!
I can only image the bone rattling involved in driving that....
