The time has come for me to reluctantly sell my 1990 Mini. Being a self-employed personal trainer working silly hours, has left me with very little time to continue the potentially small amount of work needed to have the car back on the road/track.

DSCF1321.jpg

It started its life as a blue 998cc Rover mini, It had seen much better days. The car was completely stripped down & shot blasted. Any damaged/rotten panels were replaced with heritage panels and certain areas received extra attention with a focus on strengthening or accommodating engines or Fuel tanks. The car was sprayed Ferrari Gialofly Yellow, with a Black roof. I choose to attempt a vtec conversion, which originally started with a B16A2 but later replaced with a B18C4, due to its LSD gearbox and the fact I had the complete donor car making the conversion a lot easier. If you want more info on the build here is a link to the build thread - http://www.16vminicl...&highlight=wasp

All consumables, seals, gaskets & bearings have been replaced with new items.

Worth every penny if you ask me. If I hadn't have bought mine last year then I'd have snapped this up. You even get the chance to add your own little touches like carpets, arches, dash, etc. Good luck with the sale.

Hi

I looked at your build thread and have a couple of questions if you don't mind

Was the original front end fibreglass and then you replaced it with steel?

Why did you change the rear tank setup?
