Headrests On Rear Seats.

Hi guys I want to fit headrests to my rear seats or on the parcel shelf has anyone done this if so would like to see some pictures for ideas

It's been done, but don't have any pics. The way I think it was done (from memory) was to use a pair of front headrests drilled and passed through the parcel shelf and bolted to the rear seat bulkhead.

  With a pair of scrap seats you could gut the headrest mechanism out of the back and weld it to the rear bulkhead.   The early single pillar ones use a funky roller thing to apply pressure to the stem, which passes through a channel to hold it in place.  The later twin post ones are just tubes.  I'd fabricate a cover for the mechanism in the boot too, they are quite sharp and unfriendly.
