You do not need any form of adhesive etc.
The lower panel is held in by the aluminium trim (onto the seperate clips which secure onto the lower dash rail) and the switch panel when mounted, assuming you have both of these pieces?
*Regarding below, I must apologise as I am wrong. The ones I've taken off have only been clipped (or the glue has become aged to the extent that it is redundant) and when i put mine back I didn't glue it either, but I have a rollcage holding it in too!*

It is meant to be glued and then clipped. The ally trim won't hold it, and neither will the switch panel really. Use Timebond or similar. It's not rubber foam, its either polyurethane or polyisocyanurate and so quite tough. Test a small area first maybe but Timebond hasn't melted any of mine.

Got it, but what kind of clip and where at?

There is an assortment of small clips used, some along the bottom edge that just hold the vinyl to the metal and some along the top edge that also hold the alloy trim over the top of everything. They are basically just little edge trim clips that fold the vinyl over the edge of the metal and clamp it. They are tiny and not heavy so I don't think it would be too expensive for you to order some from here and ship them. Mini Spares or Somerford will probably have them. I'm sure there will be an equivalent locally though.

Thanks for your advice so far, Just have one more question.. Yesterday when I was trying to fit my lower dash pad (just to see how it would look) but couldn't cause of my heater control unit and my Steering Wheel bracket. Here's a few pics of what I'm talking bout, first 2 are my own, third one is kind of how I want it to fit, but can't cause of the heater and bracket, and forth & fifth are how I want my dash pad to look like. Anyways, just wanted to ask you before I started to cut, or remove things. Do I remove them or just work around them?

The pad is meant to be fitted first, but is usually quite generously cut around the various slots and holes for everything that is fixed to the dash, particularly the column bracket. I would probably drop the heater and screw it back through the pad, since it's easy enough, but cut the pad closely around the column bracket because of the shear bolts.
