Got my car back a day before i passed my test and noticed the CD player no longer switches on ..

I really don't have time to get it back into the garage any time soon and let the mechanics keep it for a few days and fiddle ..

So, i just want to know is it simple to trace all the cables etc and hopefully hunt down the problem and 'plug' it back in? .. (If that's the word I'm after)

I would go and take a look now, but i don't know what I'm looking for .. So, a list of common problems and how to fix them would be great ..

Hoping to get it fixed for tomorrow, but i won't hold my breath :errr:

Cheers in advance ..

Could be, but i don't know where they are located in a mini ..

The fellas at the garage have re-done some fuses i think, 'because my indicators weren't working a few weeks back .. But, yeah .. Could be the fuse ..

Any idea where to look for it? :errr:

your fuse box should be on the left hand side of the bulkhead, under the bonnet if you are looking at the front of the car, also most headunits will have a fuse in the back of them, have a look there too

I'm assuming you are in Wigan given your name. If you need help pm me as i'm only in leigh and i'll have a look for you.

but could be that the hard wire is not right or that your windscreen leaks (?) if its iether of those you might have a problem.

But the offer of a look at it is there.
