Hi all,

Apologies as this may seem a sad old boring story, but thought who best to ask than those fellow owners.

I have a 2007 Mini Cooper 1.6 and love every minute of driving it. I have only owned it for about 4months and in that time have had it serviced and in and out of the garage (mini approved) for a engine light that kept coming on and a sluggishness on acceleration...

I have had the throttle body replaced at quite a cost and it seemed to sort it out until today when again the engine light came on again whilst cruising in 6 on the motor way. (Usually the case... 6th gear cruising on the motorway.) always seems to come on then...

I have booked it in tomorrow. Please any advice or similar previous experience stories much appreciated. I have noted a few similar stories through a google search so seems that this is a known problem... No out come stories unfortunately... Hopefully someone can provide this... Else may be me ... One day.

Cheers
Gavin

Hi and welcome to TMF, we deal mainly with classic minis on here but we do have members with the modern BMW Mini as well.

Probably best you try out this forum as they may give you the answer you need a lot quicker. Good luck with your car.
