So I went for my re test today and all is well apart from the emissions. The c02 reading came out at 9. Something and they were saying it should be about0.3 ish. Anyone have any ideas what I could do to bring it down? Cheers

It's a 1990 city, 998 with stage 1 kit, carb. Spark plugs are a light brownish colour, cheers harry

Was thinking, if I got rid of the stage 1 temporarily and back to standard would that help out?

level should be 3.5% on that year / model

clean your filter out, wind the mixture nut in (anticlockwise viewed from above) try about 1 turn..

If you count the turns you can always wind it out again if it doesn't feel right..

It's only get you through the test.

I use a gas tester and set mine to 3%, maybe MOT man will let you adjust it while he's got the tester plugged in

I heard about the colour tune that may give me a rough idea? The carbon monoxide level was a bit high as well.
