I have found a 2 pairs of calipers and a hub and drive shafts etc, One set of calipers looks like the sandard AP caliper but the others are different. I think they are made by "Lockhead" but cant really tell as its not too easy to read. Are there any obvious idenitfying factors of 7,5 inch calipers? They doo look a bit smaller than the AP ones but i dont know reallys as all ive done is hold them up to each other. Or could they be the 7 inch ones? how would i tell?

Secondly can you get 7.5 inch calipers refurbished? Is it done on an exchange basis or would I have to send them away and get them done and then sent back to me?

my cooper s callipers are ap and they should be smaller than the 8.4 ones.

You can buy the rebuild kits which include new seals and you can buy new pistons, i think most people recommend stainless ones from minispares and you could do them yourself with a bit of time. The kits are only a fiver and there was a guide in one of the mini mags a while back about how to rebuild them

Lockheed were swallowed up by AP 30-odd years ago. They also made a few hundred different types of caliper for a few different manufacturers. It doesn't really narrow it down a bit.

Can you make out any part numbers?
