Hey guys, I've been looking online at trackers, and they say there ment to be attached to the car battery so there permanent on to be located

Would this drain the battery tho? Or is it not enough of a charge to really kill it?
(Or is there any other way to install them)

Thanks :D

It depends on what condition your battery is in, but it should take a while before it drains it. You can buy trackers that have built in batteries, I believe. They then charge when the engine is running.

It's got a built in one too, but if it's attached to the battery will it be charging all the time or just when the ar is running?

I'd prefer that. So when the engine is off the trackers just running in its own battery.

I think on most trackers, the built in battery is just for backup, should the main battery get disconnected for any reason.

Unless you leave your car standing for a very long time, you probably will have no noticeable drainage on the battery. But like I said, it depends on the age and condition of your battery.
