I'm in the process of rebuilding my gearbox and I need to check the laygear end float but I cannot find the figure anywhere, the only thing that comes up in a web search is the thickness of available shims which isn't a lot of use without knowing what the end float should be. The engine (1275) and box are from a 1990 Metro

Thanks in advance for any input/enlightenment.

Have measured the end float and at present it is 0.007"

Stuart
