Going to paint the garage out though and get some lights on the walls to make painting the next one easier. Just had to get this finished before starting another project.
Have a single up and over door for the garage so will block half the front off and put a filtered extractor in the wall. Saves leaving the door open when working.
Am really looking forward to getting it on wheels and running. Need to get wheels blasted ready for paint, just need to find somewhere to do it

I have fitted rear suspension and petrol tank,

I also fitted new bushes and shaft to the radius arms, as they had seen better days.

What a lovely project!
I think you might have the bolt attaching the tie rod to the lower arm in the picture upside down? Apologies if not :)

Unfortunately had to remove my front subframe as I have discovered some play in the rack although I can't find it off the car so will investigate further, I have a spare mk1 rack though if I need to rule it out. Hopefully only a small setback

Also painted my rocker cover and petrol cap, although the rocker cover looks dark on picture it is better with natural light, I do think the paint from mini centre is a bit dark though compared to original, at least it's all same colour so should be ok

Looking better inside now column is on, hopefully get brakes bled and get engine in shortly

Just love the simplicity of an unaltered Mk1 interior. Great work.
