New gasket, correct torque and a wee dot or 5 of silicone just to add a little stick....

Theres quite a things to attend to when fitting a timing cover. Also don't forget theres a gasket behind the backplate and also the 1/2 moon seal too, either of which could be leaking, but regarding the cover itself:-
The seal can be so tight in its housing that removing/fitting new one can bend the cover so the seal is effectively diagonal to the crank, not easy to spot but must be checked for.
The holes round the cover will be 'dinged in' from tightening the previous time and need tapping back the other way,I always go beyond flat towards the bolt heads and let them pull in when tightening
You have to centralise the cover using the pulley itself prior to tightening any of the bolts,it's a job well detailed on here and in the manuals.....Any of these could cause a leak if not attended to.
Everything should be inspected as per good practice/workmanship such as is there a 'seal track' worn into the pulley where the seal runs, general damage to the cover, make sure the dished washer is the right way round.

Hi.. on the oil seal for the crank pully I use a hub nut socket to reinstate new seal as for the gasket use Hylomar blue as it never goes hard but you must cleen off surfaces on block and cover with thinners...and when tou go to bolt the cover to the block just put a couple of bolts first then gently fit crank pully as to centralist cover fefore fully fitting cover.......good luck
