Hi guys I got an a+ 998 all standard. How many teeth should my bendix/starter cog have 9 or 10?

107 ring gear uses a 9 tooth bendix gear and thats correct for inertia starters up to 1984 when the pre-engaged came in

Pre-'86 metros use the 10 tooth inertia starter , if you have the 10tooth pinion it will mesh with the 107 tooth ring gear as it is designed to. The only problem is its harder for the starter to turn the engine. Use the 9 tooth on the mini application.
