Hello,

I've already done a quick research on the internet and this forum but I didn't find any problem like mine.

Well, to be short, the rev-counter and the Speedometer are connected but they tell sh*t.

My mother was following me at 90 km/h (56 Mph) and my Speedometer was pointing 70 km/h (43 Mph).

Also, the rev-counter does 0-4000 tr/min only, and really slowly ...

What would the problem be ?

It's a Flame Red mini with 12" wheels.

Thanks for your precious help, it is not enjoyable to drive with that :/.

Regards.

The speedo could be out for any number of reasons, most likely are the wrong drive gears in the box. If the tyres have been changed, e.g from 10s to 13s then that can have a big effect. Or it could be a combination of all of these. There is unlikely to be an super easy fix. You could replace the speedo drive in the box. Some people on here say you can do it with the engine and box in the car but it would be tricky. Otherwise you could get the speedo recalibrated by someone like speedy cables. The rev counter could be the voltage regulator, dodgy connection etc. PM KernowCooper as he is brilliant on little problems like that.
