Rev counter read twice as many rpms then it should?

Its a 90 Mayfair with the Mini 30 magnolia clocks

Doesnt bother me really but its disconcerting when i am in the red at over 6000 when actually i am

only doing 3000! O_O

Is it to do with the difference between MPI and SPI?

How easy is it to rectify?

Cheers

Lenny

Mini Thirties came with black clocks, are they MPi clocks? If so I've also got them fitted in mine, I just put the magnolia face onto my old rev counter, but there is a resistor that you have to mess with if my memory serves me correctly?

Have a gander through here
