Hi,

What rocker covers fit over roller rockers??

I've spent the day installing my rebuilt engine everything was going well until I set a the valve clearance and tried fitting my nice new shiny alloy rocker cover, but as you've guessed, it didn't fit!!

Thanks in advance

The Metro/Cooper finned alloy one doesn't clear roller rockers without help from a die-grinder.............

The square-topped one from MiniSpares is supposed to clear, as will the standard steel ones.

You should check for valve spring coil-bind too.

Phil.

The minispares cover will require taking off a bit of meat with a dremel, or some 'gentle' persuasion with a hammer (not reccomended because they can break so easily)

Standard cover all the way, no problem with hi-lift keeping the original A series look
