Can anyone tell me the standard height of a 1275cc A plus block. I think there 225mm?????????
Just trying to see if the block i have here has been decked.

Has the block got the original bore size grading letter(s) stamped in the top? usually either 'A' or 'B' but could be a combination of those

ive three blocks here one i no is standard
i cannot see any marks on them were should i be looking
when a block is decked how much do they take off

The amount machined off is variable depending on the requirements of the last build. Look at the image, yellow arrow pointing the size grade letter in this case 'A'. If this is still visible its within about 0.005 to 0.0.008" of standard.
