Hi All,
Bought some group 7 arches last weekend and im currently fitting them. Thye rear ones fit perfect but the front ones look to be too big. As if they havent been made to the correct dimensions. Obviosuly there is very little flex in them, i have tried the magazines for a pic for help but mite have to e-mail the comp-any i bought them off.

Any ideas on how to fit them.

Does the front meet the lip behind the chrome bumper??

Cheers

Rich

Most mini specialists sell them, i don't think they are that rare.

Some companies make better ones than others though...

Having same problem mate, i am wondering about the height of the front of the front arch ( ) i had it in a position that looked right but it the wheel fouled it when it was on full lock. if i go any higher then the side repeater hole gets covered. Its a bit of a pain in the arse as the front is so high with it having no engine!! anyone got any pics of the front arches from the side so i can guage the position?? cheers, stu.

can you not get templates for the arches so you know where to position it or drill holes if you have to like when you buy sports pack arches the template goes on the car and you drill the holes trough the template so it is an exact fit for the aches.
dont know if that helps or just confuzed you more.
if i can find something about templates for grp 7's i will let you know

Does this help at all. These are our style of group 7 Arches. Others are called are Group 7 but are really an over stretched group 5. Pics of yours would help.

Yeah your right there. they cost £20 second hand. Just put them on for a pre-mot test tomorrow (talk about last minute) They will have to come of again through because 3 are black and ones white. Bit of a bargain through
