Just been for a posh tapas meal, £39 for 4 people. We came straight out of the restaurant and straight into the chippy across the road! :ohno:

Why is it the more we pay for food, the less we actually get??

Fed up of these posh places trying to pass off tinned olives and packet salami as a proper meal :xxx: .

Tapas meal for £10 a head? With a drink?

Pretty cheap these days. Tapas is never gonna be a full meal though, its slithers of lots of nibble things.

If you want to do the tapas style, lots of little bits, try a Greek Meze.

You won't be hungry after that - 30+ courses including various slow cooked meats is pretty ordinary.

Went to a Tapas restaurant once, decided I didn't like much on offer - so had a mostly liquid dinner and ordered pizza when we returned.   :P

the thing is that 'tapas' and 'restaurant' don't go together, but that's back in Spain...  ;D
