Wiper Motor Loose In Bracket

hi guys i have just installed my new wiper motor and bracket. the motor feels very loose as if the bracket is too big. i have checked and the motor is the right one and the bracket is the right one.  am i missing something or had i done something wrong????

There should be a rubber or plastic plinth thing between the motor and the bulkhead if I remember correctly...
