hi all,my gaffer has got this wood and pickett mini with mercedes headlights.apparently there were only three made to show what wood and pickett could actually do.he said how could he find out who the previous owners were as these were made for stars in the 70's.dont get me wrong the shells  in great condition,just needs putting back togethber.the reg is cuw 408v.any info would be greatly appreciated.

Have you got any pictures of it?

 

You can get the information from the dvla, I think it costs about £20 and you need to fill a form out.

i can sort some out for you,but like i said its a rolling shell at mo.wish i could afford it,well ,no i dont actually,mini lights should be round.

I've not seen the Maximum Mini blog before. That could well be some new reading material for so e time.

On those cars, I love the modified minis but the Merc grille and lights should not be put on a mini.

I'm sure I've seen one (a while ago) out side a tyre shop in middx / harrow / uxbridge area, looked like a wrek, it was advertising the tyre shop, I think it had tyres fixed to the roof!

I photographed this one at Stanford Hall in 1986. Don't think it's a W&P though.
