Hello, just bought my first Mini and I'm very excited about it!!
She is a 1980 city in need of lots of TLC! As you can see from the photos, she has had a really bad body kit fitted, which we ripped of this afternoon, uncovering quite a bit of rust and a few holes but hopefully nothing terminal. The person who did the bodywork, lets call him 'the vandal', had unfortunately cut the front wings for the body kit and drilled a good few holes. 
So I have a feeling there's going to have to be a fair amount of welding done.

Fortunately the interior is nice, British Open seats I believe, and the engine seems fairly good.
Anyhow I just thought I would say hello and I hope to be on here lots...... although not posting tooooo many problems!!
