Would be great to see the price of an item alongside the title, rather than having to open it and trawl through.

I add the price onto my titles if I am selling something.

Just an idea.

No way to enforce that with the current system but I will consider writing an add on which would do it as it's a good idea.

good idea but doesnt take into account condition and quality of part ie heater £10  as its been taken out of a mini thats been standing for a while and is a bit battered and bruised or Heater £50 as its been completely refurbished and in better condition than it was when originaly installed. just my two pence

That would be in the item description, no need for it in the title!

if im understanding the op would like to see the price in the title before opening up the post to read the description to try and savehaving to trawl through lots of posts. i can see this working very well for common parts such as door handles engine steady bars swithces brackets etc just not for other items that can differ in quality such as seats door cards dash rails etc

What if we made titles more detailed? e.g. 'Pair of Doorhandles - Excellent Condition - £15' i.e. as a standard format?

Thoughts?

Its probably gonna be a bit difficult to enforce but as a seller I'd recommend it. Its something I usually try and do as it generates interest.

Single items it'd work perfectly, gets all you need to know without opening each thread.

But then not everyone is going to abide by a formatting, or monitor it. SO I guess it'd have to be a gentlemans agreement.

Sort of separates the rogue pirates from the regulars instantly.

I'm sure in the old days when i ran a PHP forum we could split the title. So you could have something like: Item then condition then price, which would format the title as Item-Condition-Price. Also you'd then make it so all fields would have to be filled for a post to be published. Also requiring the fields to have certain characters so people can't just put £££.
