I was on the mini spares site when i came across a vacuum pipe that i know i dont have on the SPI. I have a yellow one from the intake pipe to the underside of the air filter and thats it as far as i know.

Do i need the red vacuum pipe from the underside of the filter to the intake manifold and whats the fuel trap do, where is it located if i have one and do i need it and will it stop the missfire when you step on the accelerator or will that be something else?

EDIT: Just been out and had a look, i got the pipe from the ECU to the fuel trap and one from the fuel trap to somewhere else. i dont know where it goes but im sure someone here does

It's all shown on the minispares website, http://www.minispare...|Back to search

The one from the fuel trap goes to the MAP sensor on the ECU which means (if it isn't connected) the fuelling is wrong as the inlet vacuum (depression) isn't be communicated to the calculation done by MEMS.

Thanks FS Possibly going to replace all of the hoses with Auto Silicone Hoses Vacuum hoses anyway.

Was messing with the vaccie hoses,  the rubber/plastic angle end was still on the manifold with the pipe ripped out of it for the missing hose. i found a vacuum hose of another mini in a bag of crap my dad had lying around and it was longenough to fit, Bit of a t**t to fit but managed it, broke a perished angled end so swapped it for one off the fuel trap and put a rubber hose on the fuel trap to the pipe where i stole the angle. All bodged together at the moment but should be acquiring some 4mm silicone vacuume hose from Auto Silicone Hoses. Should be able to redo it all then
