Live straight to battery with inline fuse ( the amp will not be live until head unit is turned on been as you have a thin blue wire that is remote turn on ) black wire is earth straight from battery or earth to a good body ground . Thin blue is remote to head unit and the RCA' s from head unit to the amp . If you get confused ask me anything .

Brilliant thank you mate so I basically need to get all the blue wires back to the head unit the rest can be done from the back is that correct
Thanks again most appreciated.

Sounds good I'm putting 2 6x9 under the rear seat and 2 more at the front but really would like a coup,e of subs just for pure bass I'm not that clued up on sound systems at all. If I went for these subs what amp would you recommend to run them

I would imagine so yes. The boot will prlly be too larger volume of air for those two subs, so they may not play to their full volume (db) because there not it right size enclosure (too big, yes, even a mini boot!).

If you did want to do what you where suggesting, which is running the subs infinite baffle on the parcel shelf, which means they don't need a box, then you need to find some different ones that can be run like that.

A set of free air subs would work better on the rear shelf if you intend on using the boot as an enclosure as it's not air tight.
