I have just recently bought this tracker

but it doesnt say weather i connect it straight to the battery or weather i connect it to the back of the cigarette light through a 12v system can anyone help?

he's driven most days but not very far but it has got a large battery life (i cant remember what) also how do i connect it to the fuses? and which number fuse?

Before plugging it directly to your battery check how much current it uses. It may be specified on the tracker documentation or you can check it with a tester. Remember that even 0.1A (100mA, equivalent to 1.2W of current draw) will empty a 60Ah battery in 3 weeks (60Ah/(21 days*24 hours)=0.12A. I've looked at a few on the internet and they seem to draw about 100ma like here .
