I have a 1275 A plus with an HIF38, and an AAG needle. I recently converted from an A+ 998 and transferred everything over, including the stage one kit and 123 dizzy.

The problem I'm having is that the car lacks power low down and flutters a bit at mid throttle. There is gobs of power when my foot's on the carpet, but it's not a linear progression. It likes to drop the revs too far as I gear down for a stop, frequently stalling. The plugs are between tan and white on the outer two, and just a bit darker on the centre two, so my impression is that its lean. However, I don't see much difference when I screw the mixture adjustment on the side of the carb in even all the way till it stops.
Any suggestions, or further info I could provide to help sole this issue?

Quite spot on description of issues I was having, but this was an SPi. I don't know a thing about carbs, but in my case it turned out to be the fuel pressure, might be something to check.
