I think it's worth £360

You'd be better setting up a photobucket account and uploading your pics to there then copying the "img" code into the text for your pictures

Got some work to do but got to be worth the buying price. Good luck with the project.

Very few classic minis can be bought for under £400 these days, especially complete running examples that can be driven. So I'd say that £360 is a good buy.

what i like about this mini is that its complete so its just a case of sorting the rust out painting it and putting it back together,  i nearly bought a bare shell 6 months ago so would have needed to buy everything...

i can get my hands on a 1275 engine for cheap, is it worth the upgrade from the origanal 998?

Upgrading to a 1275 is certainly worth doing, but finding a cheap one these days is no easy task, and finding a decent cheap one is almost impossible, unlike 998's that are cheap as chips, as nobody seems to want them.

Bargain mate!

looks better than most for double that price. Look forward to seeing it stripped out so we can see what needs doing.

Cheers

Ben

i can get my hands on a 1275 for next to nothing not sure about how many miles its done though, but my brother can rebuild engines anyway.... also i was talking to a guy at my sons party and he said he had a mini cooper engine but its in bit, are they a 1275 also?

Lucky you!! Assuming he's talking about a 90's Rover cooper engine then yes they are also 1275's. The original BMC Cooper engines from the 60's were 997 or 998cc, but they're like rocking horse poo and therefore very valuable these days, so it's unlikely to be one of them.
