Hi all,

Just a quickie just had my new Nural(Federal Mogul)21253 pistons fitted to the original rods. Have just come to check that the rings are on correctly just in case they took them of when fitting the rods (Pistons came fitted with rings from retailer so no instructions)

Top compression ring upper side is marked 'GOE6'to one side of the gap

Second compression ring is marked 'GOE6' and 'TOP' again by the gap, this ring has a visible step on it's lower face around it's circumference.

Can anyone confirm this is correct

Many thanks in advance for any advice

Stuart

Sounds right, the second ring is the scraper ring isn't it, which can have a step in it.
