ok whats the difference in quality and fitment between the Gen and non gen battery box's from minispares?

 

Pro bodywork peeps...what would you fit?

 

Just put a new battery in and it has the dreaded rot worm.

 

Also, can someone give me details how to fit it, as im hoping a mate can cut/weld new one in.

I fitted a pattern one to Erm and had to manufacture an extra section as it did not fit the contour of the boot floor. I would go for Heritage personally in the future.

I bought one from mini machine and that was a good fit so I would choose heritage or mini machine

I orded the non gen from minispares, and my mate whos gonna weld it in says if it need extra fabrication/fettling he will do it
