realised the jet on my carburetor is bent the other day. i have noticed you can buy replacements but as it is probably 10mm away from where it should be it may have caused further damage? the mini is at work at the moment so cant check right now but want to order parts tonight if anyone here is able to lead me in the right direction :) thanks

The service kit includes a new jet; may be a good time to strip and clean the carb and give it the once over?

Not an uncommon kind of damage. It would typically have become bent because at some time the engine steadies were in poor condition and allowed it to bang against the bulkhead. That used to be a common problem before the lower steady became standard. It can also happen during certain mauntenance operations such as lowering the subframe to change the steering rack, jacking the engine to change mounts, or even when changing the steady bar bushes.
It may have been bent for a long time, but now you will know what to do to avoid it becoming bent again.

yeah, pretty sure it hit the bulkhead a couple times when the stabiliser decided to come loose!
