does anyone know if a 998 E reg mini flame will run on unleaded? can't remember when they changed.

From memory it was 1989 (G Reg) models onwards. So an E Reg would have been pre-unleaded. That's assuming that you still have the original engine though and that the head hasn't been converted to unleaded.
