I'm looking for a new pair of front seats that are more comfy than the broken ones I have now. I know the question has been asked before about what fits but I can't find a definitive answer. These look rather interesting and would be a definate talking point.

As long as you can knock up a decent sturdy pair of subframes you can make most seats fit. Recaro's are a popular choice, i've got a pair in mine and they're really comfy.

Thanks guys. When you say "knock up a decent subframe", what exactly is involved? Can you "cut the bottom off" a standard mini seat and attatch it to another seat. I imagine having just the one hook point, as per normal seats, holding a larger / heavier seat in place could be a problem? I don't suppose anyone has pics of a converted seat / subframe?

You can fit Rover 220 Coupe seats, nead some brackets making.
Or how about MGF? They are nice and small but still comfy.
Rover 25/45, the sporty ones, bit bigger but still nice!
Most of the leading edges with either bolt or weld onto the cross member, just leaving a brack or two to make for the rear of the seats!
