where can we purchase all the bright work without it actually being chromed. As it won't match our overall scheme for project Penelope. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this is in the wrong section

if you want carbon fibre on a budget you can get kits to cover components in carbon fibre which should look good!

Not them, you buy a kit to do it, theres videos on how to on the website or if not then on youtube, its basically fiberglassing with carbon fibre cloth.
and I would advise using good second hand parts instead of new to save costs.
You could also use a wrap but the ones that imitate carbon fibre look a bit naff

i would go for plastidipping. its a hell of a lot cheaper than powder coating and looks awesome. matte black is easy to do as well, you can get it in cans off ebay for about £15... i think UBSTANKN recently plastidipped his wheels matte black (using one of the ebay cans) and they looked awesome!! doesnt require any sanding either, and if u change your mind one day you can just peel it off

If satin black or matte black was wanted then painting them would be a better idea as plastidip still isnt permanent :)

yeah true, although i heard somewhere that apparently it holds up better than paint due to the slightly rubbery finnish, meaning stones simply bounce off instead of chipping. might have to look into that though

You might have something there, I know you can pressure wash and take it through a car wash and it survives but who knows, I might have to give it a go myself sometime

We haven't decided if the black will be gloss or matte yet
i think you can get this "glossifier" stuff which you spray on after to make it shiny so might be worth checking out
