Hey guys and gals

 

Looking for some banded steel wheels, love the look of them and miss having a set, want to get rid of the wheels I have on my daily which have have been fitted with spacers   (never a good idea) without them they look wrong with the arches.

Don't need them with tyres as I have got a spare set of tyres.

Nothing wrong with 13's, there was a set on ebay recently, just got to look around. :)

Well my rebuild project will be running 10's but for a daily i need something that doesn't scrape every speed bump around where I live

Or even if someone has some 13" steel wheels I will get them professionally banded. Anyone got any spare??

not at all, I was just wondering why them instead of 12s

I hadn't really thought about that. Could do 12s just want it to look the same when its under the arches. Can you have a look at the pic and give you thoughts.

Your problem is  finding 13" steels with 4x4" PCD rather than 4x100mm as your limited to (off the top of my head) MG Midget, Vauxhall Viva/ victors and Austin A30/35's

 

The issue you'll have with 12's is your limited to a 165 wide tyre.

 

What about a set of 13x8 wellers, they come up from time to time and would prob work a bit better

Although you can stretch 165's a fair bit as i have discovered previously, 13x8 are pretty wide, have you any pics of them on a mini??

I can't find a 13x8 pic (was suggesting 8's as I take it your currents are 7's), but did find this pic which is on 13x7 wellers

 

 

these were a set of metro steels taked out to 7's running 165's

 

but don't know how well they'd fill your arches
