I have acquired a fine example of a mini about a month ago which we have re commissioned and put back on the road. The car has one genuine lady owner (other than me) and has a genuine 16,000 miles from new. Nottingham car all its life and she bought it from Hammonds dealership in Nottingham. The car has been stood since 1997 in a garage at the side of her house so needed some work to get it back on track. The shell is rot free but not completely rust free as you can see in the pictures there are some tiny blebs on the top of the drivers wing to scuttle and some just under the headlamp. These are still very sortable but I do not want to touch because as stupid as it sounds its all original. Easily sorted and it is not ROT these get crossed over too often on minis.
Things we have done to the car:
- Brand new battery
- 4 brand new falken tyres
- all wheels have been refurbished properly and lacquered in 2k
- waxoil and cavity wax all sills and subframes
- brand new water pump as old unit was leaking water
- 45dm fitted instead of horrible ducellier with brand new vacumn advance unit
- 2 brand new black bumpers
- brand new chrome inserts in screens
- engine has had full service
- car has been serviced and all brakes overhauled
- 2 brand new wheel cylinders at back
- all brightwork has been replaced for good secondhand stuff as chrome had perished over time.
- refurbished secondhand fuel tank fitted as old unit had rusted inside tank and fuel was like syrup
- fuel rails blown out and carb removed from car and overhauled due to old fuel sitting inside it for sometime.
- full 12 months mot (will need taxing though)

I don't buy and sell minis but this was too good to miss for me and I had to have it. All work carried out on the car has been to very high quality and been carried out here at my Surf Blue.
A lot of money and time has been spent on the car but to find a genuine rot free mini with such a mileage is hard to find even if it is a city.
open to offers around £2800 ive seen a lot worse out there for sale for higher prices that are hanging so grab a nice mini.
